Labour Market Testing - 482 Visa

Before any overseas applicant is nominated by an employer for a TSS (subclass 482 visa) LMT (Labour Market Testing) has to performed by the employer to ensure that a proper process has been carries to emplo an Australian Citizen or a permanent resident. 

The Department has listed out the requirements of the LMT for the subclass 482 visa which is as follow:

1. Two advertisements need to be placed and it should run for a period of four weeks
2. The advertisements can be continuous over the period
3. The advertisements are valid for the 482 application for only 4 months 
4. Certain job seeking platform like Gumtree, Linkedin private job platforms are not accepted
5. The LMT has to mention the duties, salary, company name or recruitment agency and position.
