The transition arrangement had special provisions for the applicant to apply for the permanent visa sc186 visa under the TRT stream if they had two years of experience in the last three years with the same employer and were under 50 years of age.
Recently, the Department has made some changes in the policy and can apply for a 186-visa under the TRT stream if you have 23 months of work experience at the time of the lodgement of the visa application.
This transitional grandfathering arrangement is in effect, and it will be updated in the Legend very soon under the Reg 5.19.
